National Paralegal Reporter magazine

The Reporter is a high quality, full-color magazine available to each NFPA member. Circulation also includes paralegal educators, state and local bar associations, and other legal professionals -- total circulation is over 8,000 copies!  The publication is produced on a quarterly schedule: Jan-March/April-June/July-Sept/Oct-Dec. As of Spring 2022, the Reporter has moved to a primarily digital publication with some print copies being made available for our library subscribers.

The Reporter has long been a valued communication tool providing in-depth, thoughtful articles of interest to the entire NFPA membership. We are building on that history with a renewed focus on delivering readers with practical advice they can use in their careers. To accomplish that goal we are moving away from issue themes and looking for articles on the following key topics:

  1. Professional Development
  2. Work/Life Balance
  3. Technology
  4. How To – Tips and Tricks
  5. Ethics
  6. Diversity and Inclusion
  7. Project Case Studies
  8. Day in the Life of…
  9. Flashback to…honoring how far we’ve come as a profession!
  10. News from the local associations – awards, pro-bono activity, etc.

Articles can be 750 to 1,000 words with appropriate images, charts, etc. Text submitted as a word document and images as high resolution .jpg or .pdf files. All material should be emailed to the Director of Marketing at marketingdir@paralegals.org.
